Stockholm Ladies
Anna Brazhnikova is back in Sweden and the tournament calender is nearing to an end for 2009.
So far this year Anna has competed in tournaments in Spain, Turkey, Egypt, Uzbekistan, Holland, Nigeria and Sweden. The next tournament is in Stockholm, Sweden, where Anna will play the ITF Pro Circuit event - Stockholm Ladies.
Last year Anna defeated the number one seed, Pauline Wong, 6-1 6-2 in the semifinal and just mist out the winner spot in a tight three set battle against Nicola Geuer from Germany 6-7(5) 6-1 5-7.
This year Anna is the number three seed and she is up against Norwegian qualifier Caroline Rohde-Mohe in the first round. The main draw singles matches starts today and the venue is Näsby Park Tennis Klubb.
