Anna sums up the year 2009
We caught up with Anna Brazhnikova during the preparations for the upcoming season and asked her some quick questions.
What´s your best tennis moment of 2009?
- It was when we played the European Team Championships this summer.
What was your favourite city in 2009?
- Tenerife, the Canary Islands.
Which was your favourite tournament of 2009 and why?
- I have quite a few to choose from but I have to say the European Team Championships. I always enjoy playing in team tournaments.
What three things can you not live without when you are away on tournaments?
- My laptop, cell phone and iPod.
Who would make up for your fantasy doubles partner in 2010? Why that person?
- I don´t know about fantasy doubles partner but I will try to play as many as possible with my doubles partner, Marta Sirotkina. We teamed up many times this year.
What is your best advice when practicing tennis?
- Always give 100%.
What was your favourite book you read in 2009?
- The books New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn from the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer.
What was your favourite film of 2009?
- New Moon from the Twilight series.
What was the best dish you had in 2009?
- Tacos.
What is the ringtone on your mobile right now?
- Hahaha... it is the song Sexy Bitch featuring Akon.
Describe yourself in three words.
- Kind, happy and nice.
Which actress would you like to play you in the movie of your life?
- Hahaha... I don´t think I would be able to choose anyone because no actress would be able to pull it off… So it would have to be me or nobody at all!

- When people say that they will do one thing and never end up doing it...
