- Anna was born on October 4th, 1991 in Tashkent Uzbekistan.
- Anna’s mother, who is a former elite gymnast, started to give gymnastics instructions to Anna and her sister when she was 3 years old.
- Anna continued to practice artistic gymnastics from the age of three to eight.
- Her father, who was a former professional footballer in the top national league, assisted Anna with her physical training.
- Anna started to play tennis at the age of 8 when she one day walked past a tennis court with her parents in Tashkent. Right there and then Anna borrowed a racket and played some shots with the local coach. The coach was impressed and Anna instantly got a passion for the sport. From then on Anna knew that she was going to become a professional tennis player.
- Anna practiced rigorously every week with a coach and played matches with local players.
- When Anna was eleven years old she moved with her family to Luleå, Sweden.
- In Luleå Anna joined Luleå Tennis Klubb and combined her studies with tennis practice and physical exercise before and after school every day.
- In 2006, Anna wins the national final of the singles tournament, Kalle Anka Cup.
- In June 2007, Anna finished her secondary school and now focuses 100% on her tennis career.
- Anna has won five Swedish Junior Gold Medals throughout her junior career.
- In 2009, Anna Brazhnikova was top of the Swedish Junior rankings.
- In December 2009, Anna was selected for the Swedish Fed Cup team.
- Today, Anna is 18 years old and is included in the Swedish Tennis Federation’s elite activities and she plays on the ITF Junior and Women’s Circuit.
- Anna is attached to Lidköpings Tennis Club.
